Week 03

This week I have generated more keywords and adjectives, but I think the three words I chose, elegant, vivid, and dynamic, convey the theme and leave some space for imagination.

And I didn't do many visual sketches because I struggled with naming. I think I already had a bunch of sketch directions since last week, I just need to pick the name and apply them. Since 'Beijing Opera' is a term, it would be no sense to separate them. I also tried some words that express the theme indirectly, but I am worried about the ambiguity and misunderstanding. I also need to consider the match of the Chinese name with the English name, and sometimes a Chinese name makes sense, but its English translation doesn't make sense at all. So maybe at last, I will choose a Chinese name and an English name with different meanings.

I added more English names and Chinese names to the list and finally I think the Chinese name 余音(Literal:lasting/left/continuous · sound/voice Meaning: lingering sound)has the most potential. According to the meaning, I think the English name Be-Echo/Becho/B-Echo/Lingering... could be choices. Then I kept sketching the new name. I tried different styles of typefaces and compositions.
