Week 01

Here are my thoughts right now. After talking with the midpoint committee, I accepted their advice and decided to include more people in the project. Since this will be a double languages project, people beyond China can also enjoy Beijing Opera through online platforms. So I am going to brand an organization dedicated to promoting Beijing Opera. There will be collaborations with local theatres and events, and there will also have online promotions to attract and introduce Beijing Opera to broader audiences.

My project’s primary audience is young Chinese people (18-25) and the secondary audience is young people in the world who might be interested in this project. So the keywords and styles I chose are attractive for younger people, like vivid and dynamics. I am trying to get rid of the traditional images of Beijing Opera like old and boring by combining neo and fashion elements into the project. The word elegant expresses the gorgeous and fancy feeling of Beijing Opera.
